RCHS girls golf finishes 10th at state tournament

The Rabun County girls golf team finished 10th at the Class A Division I state championship tournament on May 18 and 19 at Arrowhead Pointe Golf Course at Richard B. Russell State Park in Elberton.

RCHS boys hoops hosts ‘Wildcats Basketball Camp’ at Rec Department

TIGER – The defending state champion Rabun County boys basketball program hosted its annual Wildcats Basketball Camp this week at the Rabun County Recreation Department for children aged kindergarten through seventh grade.

Rabun County baseball hosts RCHS Baseball Camp

TIGER – The Rabun County baseball program hosted its summer camp this week, June 1-4 at Rabun County High School for children aged 6-12 years old.

Sports summer camps continue for Rabun County High School

With the school year in the rear view mirror, Rabun County High School continues to have dates for its summer sports camps for local youth. While some camps were held earlier this month, many of the remaining high school teams’ camps will be on the RCHS campus.

Rabun boys tennis edged out of state title

ROME – The Rabun County boys tennis team’s history-making season came to an end with a loss in the state championship match as the Wildcats fell to No. 1-seeded Brantley County, 3-1, on May 13 at the Rome Tennis Center in Rome, Ga.

Dedication ‘key’ to Cats’ hoops success

RCHS football claims victory over White County to complete spring

TIGER – The Rabun County football team wrapped up its two-week spring practice period with a dramatic 10-9 win in three quarters of action over visiting AAA opponent White County on Friday, May 15.

Rabun Gap hires Gadoury as next head girls basketball coach

Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School has hired Adam Gadoury as its next head girls varsity basketball coach, the school announced on social media on May 13. Gadoury, who served as the team’s stat-keeper and an assistant coach for the last four seasons, will take over for 19-year head coach Dale Earnhardt.

Rabun football hosts Future Wildcat Kids Camp

TIGER – The Rabun County football program hosted its annual Future Wildcat kids camp on May 18 and 19 on the Rabun County High School campus. The kids camp was free to all interested future Wildcats ages kindergarten through eighth grade.
