Talmadge Marlor Frady, age 88, of Clayton, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022. Born on May 26, 1934, he was the son of the late Malor Freeman Frady and Cora Dixon Frady. Talmadge drove a bus for the Rabun County Senior Center for more than 20 years; worked in sales for Maytag; and belonged to Peoples Baptist Church. He was also an avid fisherman and an avid Georgia Bulldog sports fan.

He is survived by his loving wife Shelby Payne Frady. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Gary Frady (Jennie) of Clayton, Timothy Scott Frady of Durman, Conn., and Joseph Frady (Toni) of Bristol, Conn.; three step-children; Gene Crane (Kim) of Gwinnett, Kent Crane (Stephanie) of Gwinnett, and Denise Crane Burt of Clayton; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Deffinger; three brothers, Ken Frady, Cline Frady, and Farrell Frady; five sisters, Bonnie Kidd, Delmay Braker, Winnie McDonald, Gertha Mars Gill, and Greta Kilby.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 2 p.m. in the Eastside Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Joe McCrackin and Rev. Bernie Deffinger officiating. Burial will follow at Frady Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon-2 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service at Eastside Chapel.
