Lt. Col. Kenny Kruse (Air Force) is the velvet chain of his family. He continues as the light, the truth, and inspiration that, as he always desired, move us to stronger bonds that have sustained us in the first days of his departure, and as we move on, through the longevity of our continued bond with each another.

Kenneth Kay Kruse was born in Killeen, TX to Paula Tourbanash and Henry Kruse (ret. Army). He went to Killeen High School, and later graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 1972. He began his journey in service first as a school teacher, before joining the United States Airforce. There, he proudly served until 2001, earning the respect of his colleagues and superiors as an expert aviator. After retirement in 2011, he continued service to the US armed forces as a trainer instructor in retirement until 2011.

He is survived by his beloved wife Willi Ann; sons Collin Kruse, Evan Kruse and Cameron Dennis; daughters Abby Kruse, Dana Kruse, Jennifer Dennis, and Darcie Koller. And to his grandchildren, whom he doted on: Cayden Kruse, Ryker Kruse, Isabella Dennis and River Dennis, who will always know him as Kapaw.

Lt. Col. Ken Kruse is the salt of the earth. He will continue to serve all who knew him in life, leading us to aspire to excellence and love in service to the United States and the Lord, our one true Savior. Also, we believe he would like to encourage all to ask God Bless to Bless Texas and Hook Em Horns!

A private burial service will be held at Wesley Memorial Cemetery with military honors presented.
