Lester “Les” F. Kinzly Jr., 90, of Sun City Center, Fla., passed away Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014.

He was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran of World War II, a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Brandon, Fla., life member of B.P.O. Elks Lodge No. 1732 in Hollywood, Fla., National Association of Management Accountants, past president of Kiwanis Club of Greater Brandon, Rescue Fire Company 5 in North Tonawanda, N.Y., social member at Renaissance Golf and Country Club, attended Clayton Baptist Church and retired as president of Hendry Corporation.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet Kinzly.

He is survived by: his wife, Joan; sons, Daniel Kinzly of Lexington, S.C., and Glen Kinzly of Peachtree City; a daughter, Susan West of Valrico, Fla.; a brother, Jerry Kinzly of Watertown, Conn.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Private memorial services will be held. Burial will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to LifePath Hospice or the American Cancer Society. An online guestbook is available at SouthernFuneralCare.com.
