Vora Elaine Hudson, 57, of Kingston, passed away Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, at her residence.

Mrs. Hudson was born April 5, 1956, in Kingston to the late Howard Keeney and Vera Head Keeney. She was a member of Kingston Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting, working in her yard and building things.

Survivors include: her husband of 22 years, Bennie Hudson of Kingston; two brothers, Eddie Brooks of the Folsom community and Lamar Keeney of Kingston; two sisters, Stella K. Hopkins and Teresa Faye Keeney, both of Kingston; three goddaughters, Mandy Allen, Deborah Stanley and Daphney Stanley; two nieces, Snody Duck and Xavier Michaels; and two nephews, Eric Lowe and Thorn Burke.

Funeral services were held Dec. 27 at the chapel of R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home in Adairsville with the Rev. Joel Miller officiating.

The family held a visitation Dec. 28 at Macedonia Baptist Church in Clayton. Burial followed at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
