Virginia Buchanan Davis, 57, of Franklin, N.C., passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013, at Angel Medical Center In Franklin.

Virginia was born March 24, 1956, in Rabun County to the late Claude and Virginia Darnell Buchanan. She was a graduate of Franklin High School and a member of Newman Chapel Baptist Church.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Buchanan, and a special nephew, Daniel Buchanan.

She is survived by: her husband, Ray Davis of Franklin; four brothers, Alvin Buchanan and wife Olie, Frank Buchanan, Rick Buchanan and wife Lizzy and Neville Buchanan, all of Clayton; and a sister, Mary Brown and husband Milton of Rabun Gap.

The body has been cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
