Barbara Ann Galbreath was born July 23, 1922, to William and Rena Lindberg in Seattle. After a normal childhood, she graduated from high school and attended the University of Washington for a short period before marrying John Oliver Galbreath on New Year’s Eve in 1940. They had two sons, Michael John and Patrick James, and were married for over 51 years before John’s death in 1992.

Because of John’s employment at Bath Iron Works Shipyard, they moved to Maine in 1974, then on to New Orleans in 1979. After John’s death, Barbara remained in New Orleans alone for 10 years before moving to Georgia in 2002 to be close to Michael and Gail. Also surviving are three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

At Barbara’s request there will be no services.
