Michael Lee Duncan, 68, of Royston, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at Athens Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Duncan was born Nov. 15, 1944, in Sanford, Fla., to the late Grady Lee Duncan and Myrtle Elizabeth Hill Duncan. He was a radiology tech and of the Methodist faith. He was a member of the NRA, Hart County American Legion Post 109 and Harrison Lee McCrary VFW Post 4828. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Margo D. Powers and Peggie D. Conrad.

Survivors include: his wife, Linda Foster Duncan of Royston; three children, Andrew Charles (Niki) Duncan of Lula, Tiffany S. Speed of Royston and Diana Dawne Sult of Pennsylvania; and five grandchildren, Payton Hunter, Braxton Sult, Jaxson Sult, Shea Magness and Savannah Magness.

Memorial services were held Saturday at the Pruitt Funeral Home chapel in Royston with the Rev. Eldon Massey officiating. A graveside service followed at Bowers Memorial Gardens in Canon.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans-Athens Chapter, c/o J. B. Conally, P.O. Box 81942, Athens, GA 30608.
