Charles Frank Paradise, 80, of Mountain City passed away at his residence after an extended illness.

Chuck was born in Detroit to the late Anthony and Elizabeth Jezwald Paradise. After high school, he was in the U.S. Air Force for four years. He was a member of the VFW. Chuck enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially Bob Mayfield in the mornings for coffee and son-in-law Wayne in the evenings after work. He owned and operated Paradise Cleaning for many years. The company did work for Sangamo Weston, A.I.D. Corporation, Georgia Power and many others.

Chuck was proceeded in death by: his wife, Janie Moore Paradise; his parents; and a brother, James Anthony Paradise.

He is survived by: two daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly Paradise Johnson and Wayne Johnson of Mountain City and Mary Beth Paradise Justus and Richard Justus of Hollywood.

Funeral services were held Tuesday in the chapel of Beck Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Cannon officiating. Burial followed at Rabun Memory Park in Tiger

Memorial donations may be made to United Hospice or the American Diabetes Foundation in memory of Chuck.
