He was born in Stephens County and was the loving son of Christine Denise Thomas Rymer of Ocoee, Tenn., and Chad Hampton Andrews of Seattle.
Chase was preceded in death by his grandmother, Carol Young Thomas, on July 11; great-grandparents Carrie Belle Young, formerly of Clayton, and Roy and Inez Garland, formerly of Lakemont.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by: his stepfather Jeff Rymer of Ocoee; brothers Jon Cody Andrews and Zacary Rymer, both of Ocoee and Dominic Andrews of Washington; stepbrothers and families, Jeffery and Robin Rymer of Seneca, S.C., David and Carla King Rymer of Ocoee; niece and nephews, Bethany and Danny Rymer and Chaseton Iseli, all of Seneca; uncles, aunt and families, Alan Young of Clayton, Marc and Melissa Williams Thomas of Rabun Gap, Matthew and Jessica Thomas of Lakemont, Freddie Rymer of Ocoee, Brian Andrews of Clayton, Nathan Welch of Clayton and Gina and Ed Burrell of Clayton; cousins, Marlon Thomas of Lakemont, Daniel Rymer, Catelin Rymer and Crystal Rymer, all of Ocoee; Blake Andrews of Clayton; great-grandfather, Burrell Young of Clayton; grandparents, Cary Thomas of Lakemont, Suzanne and Beaty Welch of Clayton, Claude Andrews of Miami and Hoyt and Wilma Rymer of Ocoee.
A memorial service was held Saturday at the Beck Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Bryan Alexander officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity that will help sick or abused children.
