Margaret Hoffman McCall, 78, of Lakemont, died Friday, June 15, 2012, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville. She was the widow of Rabun Martin McCall.

She was born Sept. 3, 1933, in Rabun County to the late Charles A. and Pauline Phillips Hoffman.

She was a postal clerk with the U.S. Postal Service for 50 years. She was a faithful member of Camp Creek Baptist Church and to her Lord.

Margaret is survived by: a son, Stephen McCall and wife Lisa of Wiley; two brothers, Jack Hoffman of Gainesville and Gary Hoffman of Peru, Ind.; two sisters, Shirley Southards of Mountain City and Judy McKay of Lakemont; two grandchildren, Weston and Haleigh McCall; and several nephews, nieces and cousins.

Funeral services were held Monday at Camp Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Mickey Woods and Gabriel Southards officating. Burial followed in the church cemetery, with the Rev. John Gipson conducting the graveside service.
