Notice is hereby given that the Rabun County Board of Commissioners shall consider at it’s regular monthly meeting to be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2012, in the court room of the Rabun County Courthouse, 25 Courthouse Square, Clayton, Georgia, 30525 on the second reading; the adoption of an ordinance. This ordinance pertains to: AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A LEVY OF TAX FOR FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS; PROVIDING FOR A MINIMUM TAX FOR FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS; PROVIDING FOR FILING OF RETURN FOR FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS; PROVIDING DUE DATE OF TAX FOR FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS; AND PROVIDING WHEN SUCH ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE. At said meeting, the Board of Commissioners will discuss, consider and receive public input concerning the proposed Ordinance amendment.
