Terry Frank Meyer, 68, of Clayton, passed away at his residence Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014.

He was born in Hamilton, Ohio, to Arthur John Meyer and Mildred Croucher Meyer.

In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Meyer.

He is survived by: his loving wife, Irene Elizabeth McCollum Meyer; a son, Tod Meyer of Clayton; a daughter, Tracie M. Davis and husband Chris of Clayton; and a grandson, John Hollis Meyer.

Terry was a building contractor and a very loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed golfing, crabbing and boating, and his work.

A memorial service was held Sunday in the Beck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ryan Wilson officiating.

The family asks that flowers be omitted and memorial donations in Terry Frank Meyer’s memory be made to Northeast Georgia Diagnostic Center/American Cancer Society, Attn.: Michelle Hill, 1240 Jesse Jewel Parkway, Gainesville, GA 30501. All donations are fully tax deductible.
