Louise Queen Farmer, 82, of Mountain City, Georgia, died Saturday night, July 5, 2014 in Habersham Medical Center, Demorest.

Born in Mountain City, May 21, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Belle Watts Queen. She was the widow of Young H. Farmer. She was a cook for the Rabun County School System and her last employment was for Rabun County Hospital. She was a member of the Blue Heights Baptist Church. She was the last member of her immediate family.

She was preceded in death, besides her parents and husband, by two brothers, J. B. Queen and Fred Queen, and is survived by two sons, Mike Farmer (Pat) of Clayton and Danny Farmer (Becky) of Danielsville, six grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren. Several nephews, nieces and cousins also survive.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Cannon and Layman Lloyd Hunter officiating. Burial was held at Rabun Memory Park, Tiger.

Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
