Lois Marshall Erickson, 84, of Clayton, died Monday, March 17, 2014, at her residence. She was the widow of John H. Erickson.

She was born Dec. 20, 1929, in Detroit to the late Chester and Irene Henson Marshall. She was a homemaker and was a member of Valley Community Church in Tate City for 30 years.

She is survived by: a son and daughter-in-law Shane and Patty Erickson of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Bill Giordano of Tate City; a brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Marilyn Marshall of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister, Betty Campbell of Jacksonville; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nephews, nieces and cousins.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Valley Community Church with officiating by the Rev. Norm Allison. Burial will follow in the Tate City Cemetery.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home, and the family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at Valley Community Church. The family is at the home on Tate City Road.
