Leamon Dean ‘Bino’ Dryman Jr.

Leamon Dean “Bino” Dryman Jr., 54, of Scaly Mountain, N.C., passed away Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011.

He was born in Macon County to Leamon Dean Dryman Sr. and Melba Wilburn Dryman. Dean worked as a carpenter all of his life. He enjoyed cat fishing and loved his children, grandchildren and family.

He is survived by: two daughters, Mary Beth Burrell and husband Bryan and Jessica Brooks and husband Billy, both of Scaly Mountain; a sister, Debbie McGill of Highlands, N.C.; four brothers, Greg Dryman of Asheville, N.C., Tim Dryman and Pat Dryman, both of Otto, and Stacey Dryman of Scaly Mountain; four grandchildren, Nathaniel, Dillon and MaKayla Burrell and Aubree Brooks; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Scaly Mountain Church of God with the Revs. Al Sizemore, Robert Dryman and Allan Smith officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery with graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 7339 and American Legion Post 108.

Pallbearers were Jason Lewis, Doug McCall, Bryan Miller, Dale Miller, Ronnie Crowe and Jerry McGill.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Macon Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses, P.O. Box 1175, Franklin, NC 28744.
