Karin Elisbeth Helga Giddens, beloved wife of Woodrow “Bobby” F. Gidddens, passed away Monday, Dec. 31, 2012.

She was born April 20, 1938, in Hamm, Germany. She was educated in business but was content to be a homemaker. Karin followed her husband on many assignments throughout the world while he served in the U.S. Air Force. She served untiringly as mentor and confidant to the young military wives and families while their husbands were away from home.

She was preceded in death by: her son, Ingo Albrecht; her father, Herbert Wilimzig, Germany; her mother, Meta Seelig, Germany; her brother, Hans Jurgen Lorh, Germany/Philippines.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years and a son, Detlef Michael Sachse of Germany.
