Juanita Cross Kinsey Ennis, 84, of Clayton, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at Angel Medical Center in Franklin, N.C.

She was born in LaFayette to Ralph Victor and Roberta Stephenson Cross.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Ennis, and a son, Larry Kinsey. She worked for Kmart in the advertising department and attended Clayton Baptist Church and was very active in the community. She loved gardening, dancing and karaoke. She was a loving mother, grandmother and was a friend to all.

Mrs. Ennis is survived by: a son, Terry Kinsey of LaFayette; a daughter, Judy Cordell of Rossville; a sister, Renda Byrd of LaFayette; three grandchildren, Cathy Schickling of Franklin, David Petty John of LaFayette, Chris Kinsey of Chickamauga; three great-grandchildren; and a special member of the family, Sue Mathison.

Graveside services were held March 29 at LaFayette Memorial Gardens with the Rev. David Petty John officiating.

The family wishes are that flowers be omitted and memorial donations in Mrs. Ennis’ memory be made to Sid Weber Memorial Cancer Fund, P.O. Box 485, Rabun Gap, GA 30568.
