John Thomas Webb, 64, of Tiger and formerly of Franklin, N.C., passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at his residence.

He was born in Macon County to the late Lewis Joe and Maude Stanfield Webb. He had worked as a carpenter and was a member of Cullasaja Assembly of God Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Mae Mason.

Survivors include: his wife, Barbara Woodall Webb; two daughters, Denise Woodard of Toccoa and Rebecca Wilson, and husband Paul of Bowersville; three sons, Keith Woodard and wife Jean of Tiger, Freddie Wilson Jr. and wife Crystal of Dallas and Christopher Wilson of Powder Springs; 17 grandchildren and 11 great‑grandchildren also survive.

Memorial services were held Saturday at Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home, with the Rev. Teddy King officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
