Guy Oliver Fisher, 88, of Clayton, and Oceanside, Calif., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012.

He is survived by: his daughter, Jennifer Fisher Chinn of Atlanta; son, Robin Guy Fisher and wife Anne Taylor Fisher of Atlanta; daughter, Holly Fisher Cantrell and husband James C. Cantrell III of Snellville; son, Perry Scott Fisher and wife Julie Fisher of Dallas, Ga.; grandchildren, Rachael, Andrew, Steven, Claire, Alex and Nikolai; and great-grandchild, Decker.

Mr. Fisher was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving as hospital corpsman master chief for 28 years. He worked as administrator of Ridgecrest Hospital in Clayton from 1971-79. After retirement, he and his wife of 62 years, Marion Fisher, lived in Rabun County.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Clayton First United Methodist Church. Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements. An online guestbook is available at www.hunterfuneralhomega.com.

SouthCare Cremation and Funeral Society in Alpharetta was in charge of cremation services.
